FAQ
We will send your spreadsheet directly to your email address. Your spreadsheet will be specific to your order depending on if you purchased an ancestral or descendant tree.
We always have access to your spreadsheet so you won't need to save or send your family names once you have everything filled in. When your spreadsheet is complete please let us know and we can schedule an initial proof with you.
We all know the saying, "Families come in all shapes and sizes". If you need help choosing which family tree is best for you then here are some tips:
Tip #1: Decide how many generations you would like to include in your family tree.
1. 2 generations - 5-10 family names (immediate family)
2. 2/3 generations - 15-20 family names
3. 4/5 generations - 30-35 family names
4. 5-6 generations - 60-65 family names
Tip #2: Decide what kind of information you would like in your family tree.
We provide FOUR different types of family trees:
1. Ancestors of a couple: (ancestors - people from whom a person is descended). We can highlight the ancestors of a couple. Where the ancestors of each spouse are featured. See link for reference.
2. Ancestors of an individual: (ancestors - people from whom a person is descended). We can highlight the ancestors of an individual. Where the ancestors of one individual are featured. See link for reference.
3. Descendants: (posterity or children of a couple either living or dead). We can create a family tree that highlights the descendants of a couple. See link for reference.
4. Ancestors and Descendants: Our 5/6 generation family trees can feature BOTH ancestors and descendants. See link for reference.
